Service Description

A 3 day course from 'Rigging Southwest's' Steve Jones (I.R.A.T.A.3 Rope Access, and Lloyds of London LOLER inspector, and Jade Dunbar 'Gaffer' of Glastonbury Circus Big Top for nearly 20 years. Covering everything YOU NEED to know and more, as an aerialist, to manage, protect, and be responsible for your own safety, and good working practice, and the safety of those around you in training and performance, and those you may also teach. Here at Cirk Hes we take the responsibility of ensuring folk can work safely and well under our umbrella very seriously. It's not all fun and games at the Circus in relation to working and training at height. We also understand the importance of passing on the knowledge and best working practice to locally based and touring freelance aerialists, aerial coaches and theatrical production crew. As well of course as to our home grown upcoming young talent in these areas. This course will leave you confident in your working practice, able to identify, highlight and confidently explain any risks to yourselves and others that you might come across during the course of your professional practice at venues/events. It will leave you confident and capable in terms of rigging your own gear, and knowing that gear's limitations. You will also learn and practice rope access skills invaluable to setting up, using and taking down the rigging you need in a wide variety of contexts.
