Our next masterclass takes place on 13 December, when Harry and Kirsty from Farm Yard Circus will lead a Partner Acro masterclass and workshop exploring hand-to-hand, dance acro, group acrobatics, creative transitions and dynamic partner work.
Full-time acrobats for more than 12 years, Harry and Kirsty trained at Circomedia in Bristol and Pitch Catch Circus in the USA, and have performed and taught internationally across more than 12 countries.
As founders of companies including Akimbo and Farm Yard Circus, they bring a playful, highly creative approach to acrobatics, combining strong technique with storytelling, physical comedy and inventive movement.
Cirk Hes masterclasses are designed to broaden skills, introduce new approaches and connect Cornwall-based participants with leading circus practitioners from across the UK and beyond.

Cirk Hes offers a broad range of ground-based circus classes in Helston, Cornwall, for children, teenagers and adults of different ages and abilities.
Training includes trampolining, parkour, acrobatics, acrobalance, tightwire, juggling, equilibristics, hula hoop, poi, staff and other flow skills, rola bola, and handstands on the floor or canes.
Our warm, light and airy year-round training space has a ceiling height of approximately 6.5 to 8.2 metres, giving plenty of room for dynamic movement and progression.
For higher-risk skills, participants train with appropriate safety lines, twisting belts, acrobatic lunge belts and safety matting, allowing them to build technique, confidence, coordination, balance, strength and performance skills in a supportive and well-equipped circus environment.

Our work has included training with Head Over Wheels, a leading national aerial dance company, which developed our staff’s understanding of accessible aerial practice, informed our work with disabled participants and contributed to the development of our Quirky Circus Christmas Rock Show.

We have also hosted a free British Sign Language workshop led by Ethel Darling of The Lonely Clown Club for circus and theatre tutors, coaches and people working in production and performance, exploring BSL both as a way to communicate with Deaf and BSL-using participants and as a practical communication tool in noisy training, rehearsal and performance environments.

Classes for SEND and Neurodivergent children, teens and adults
Cirk Hes offers inclusive circus classes for SEND and neurodivergent children, teenagers and adults in Helston, Cornwall, with sessions designed to support different communication styles, sensory needs, confidence levels and ways of learning.
Our specialist provision includes Circo Neuro for neurodivergent children, Quirky Circus for disabled adults, Sensory Sundays, bespoke SEND sessions and individualised EOTAS/EHCP support, alongside opportunities to progress into wider classes, performance, volunteering and training where appropriate.
