Join us at Cirk Hes in Helston, Cornwall, for a relaxed and supportive adult tightwire workshop designed for complete beginners. Whether you’re completely new to circus or simply fancy trying something a little different, you’ll be guided through the basics of balance, posture, focus and movement on the wire.

You’ll start low and build confidence at your own pace. For those progressing onto the higher wire, lunge lines will be used for additional support and safety, so you can experience the challenge of height with reassurance.

Expect a few wobbles, plenty of laughter, and that brilliant moment when things suddenly start to click.

What to Wear

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is best.

For footwear, we recommend close-fitting shoes with thin, flexible soles so you can feel the wire beneath your feet. Plimsolls, lightweight trainers or similar shoes are ideal. Please avoid heavy boots or thick, chunky soles.
