Who We Are
Formerly 'Cirque du Ciel', 'Cirk Hes' has been a registered charity serving the Cornish community since 2003. The last five years saw the charity lease and create a very unique space, the 'Circus Works Devoran'. The same fantastic team now bring you the Cirk Hes Circus Space in Helston, Cornwall, UK. 'Cirk Hes' means 'Shoal Circus' in Cornish.

Now with brand new, industry standard facilities 'Cirk Hes' will continue to grow the charity's activities, which focus on facilitating the teaching, the training and the performing of the Circus Arts and Physical Theatre.

Our Mission
To bring the physical, mental and social benefits of the Circus Arts and Physical Theatre to those who need such access the most. Also to support and nurture grassroots creative and community projects, to support emerging artists to greater professional development, and to support the wider circus industry.

A circus school teaching beginner to expert skills to all ages and abilities from 2 to 102 in Helston, Cornwall.

Perform
Cirk Hes produces our own events, premieres new creative works, showcases grassroots projects and young performers to talented adults. We also offer locally based and touring creative professionals space to R & D, rehearse or 'pilot' creative works for feedback and viability purposes. As a result of all this, we have developed an extensive network of creatives, artistes, production crew and educators, to support performative opportunities and employment.
